The purpose of this website is to provide a repository of knowledge on the restoration and preservation of PDP-8 mini-computers and to document the restoration of my PDP-8 machines.

The site is run by Toby Russell who has been an obsessive collector of old DEC machines for the past 20 years. Toby cut his teeth in his youth on Sinclair Spectrums and BBC micros before getting his first PDP, an 11/05 in around 1987. He quickly added a 3 rack 11/20 (alas long since gone!).

More recently Toby has expanded his collection to include numerous Qbus/Unibus -11s and Vaxes, a  and small collection of PDP-8 machines.
